Megaupload Founder Accuses Police of Assault, Denied Bail Again

Again denied bail Kim Dotcom has said that during his arrest he was kicked punched and God only knows what else after they found him in his panic room.
"I was punched in the face, I was kicked down on the floor,” Dotcom said. “One guy was standing on my hand so my nail was ruptured and my hand was bleeding, it was quite aggressive."
He is still fighting against extradition to the United States on copyright infringement, racketeering and money laundering charges. Police have raided his mansion after a FBI Investigation.
The defense said that Dotcom has several health-related problems which can not be properly dealt with in prison. They also added that he wanted to be with his wife who is currently carrying twins.
Yet The lawyer for the U.S. government, Anne Toohey, argued that the chances of Dotcom fleeing were too high. The court agreed, describing Dotcom as “an extreme flight risk.” He is scheduled to appear in court again on February 22 for an extradition hearing.

Here is a recording of his hearing where the man himself argues for MegaUpload’s legitimacy and his desire to fight the allegations on a “level playing field.”

Google Added Do Not Track (DNT) Facility in Chrome (User Privacy Implemented) - Hunt cafe News

Few months ago Microsoft made Do Not Track (DNT) facility available by default in Internet Explorer 10. So here comes the turn for Chrome. In February internet giant Google has agreed with the White House'sConsumer Privacy Bill and here comes the result. Google has implemented the Do Not Track (DNT) header in its Chrome web browser, while promising to respect DNT headers set by visitors to its web site.
First it was Mozilla who proposed the Do Not Track mechanism, later it has been garnered support from all major browser makers and a majority of the technology industry. Users who want to take advantage of the new DNT capabilities in Chrome will have to install the latest "bleeding edge" developer build in the form of the Chrome Canary branch. However, this version is not recommended for use in production environments. Users who are running a stable version of the browser will have to wait some months for the feature to arrive in the mainstream version."Do Not Track" is a tool that allows browser users to restrict advertisers from collecting information about their online Web activities. It has the backing of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Browsers with "Do Not Track" turned on don't block cookies but send a message to advertisers that the user does not want to be tracked. Companies voluntarily decide whether to comply with "Do Not Track," much as they currently decide whether to comply with the "Do Not Call" registry. Microsoft's announcement that it would turn on "Do Not Track" by default in IE10 angered advertisers. "The Digital Advertising Alliance, a coalition that counts Microsoft as a member, said that the decision ran counter to the industry's agreement with the White House announced earlier this year to honor 'do not track' as long as it is not a default setting," many international standards bodies.

GoDaddy Outage Was Not Beacuse of Hacker Attack But Technical Difficulties

GoDaddy -the website which is widely known as a DNS and hosting provider remained down for most of time on 10th September came back online in the 10th evening. As expected thousands of other web sites reportedly went offline as their hosting provider GoDaddy experienced massive service disruptions. GoDaddy, which claims to be the world's biggest web hosting company, confirmed the problems on its official Twitter account but has not yet stated the cause of the disruptions. A hacker code named"Anonymous Own3r" on Twitter took responsibility of the outage. The attack came on behalf of the hacker collective group 'Anonymous' as a protest against GoDaddy's support of the SOPA act. The hacker stated the reason of the outage is a massive denial of service (DDoS) attack which was generated from an IRC-Botnet. A tweet from the @AnonOpsLegion account: "#TangoDown -- http://www.godaddy.com/ | by@AnonymousOwn3r" was the initial public promotion of the outage, leading some to believe that the Anonymous online activist collective was behind the disruption. However, the AnonymousOwn3r account clarified in various tweets that: "it's not Anonymous coletive [sic] the attack is coming just from me." But this claim was later disputed by posts from the @YourAnonNewsaccount which is known to be one of the legitimate twitter source of Anon. After completing the investigation of the outage, GoDaddy released a press note where they have clearly said that the outage was not because of DDoS attack but internal technical difficulties. According to Scott Wagner Go Daddy CEO -"GoDaddy.com and many of our customers experienced intermittent service outages starting shortly after 10 a.m. PDT. Service was fully restored by 4 p.m. PDT. The service outage was not caused by external influences. It was not a "hack" and it was not a denial of service attack (DDoS). We have determined the service outage was due to a series of internal network events that corrupted router data tables. Once the issues were identified, we took corrective actions to restore services for our customers and GoDaddy.com. We have implemented measures to prevent this from occurring again. At no time was any customer data at risk or were any of our systems compromised. Throughout our history, we have provided 99.999% uptime in our DNS infrastructure. This is the level our customers expect from us and the level we expect of ourselves. We have let our customers down and we know it. We take our business and our customers' businesses very seriously. We apologize to our customers for these events and thank them for their patience."
